We invite you to become part of Connecticuts most comprehensive healthcare network.OurEmergencyDepartment-based Observation Unit at Hartford Hospital is a fast-paced, 20 bed unit devoted to the management of patients requiring 24-48 hours to determine whether a patient can be safely discharged or admitted to the hospital. Our team of Registered Nurses, ED Providers, Hospitalists, Techs, administrative professionals and support staff is dedicated specifically to this unit, where we continue to provide safe, personalized, compassionate care to all our patients. This units focus is on the provision of care to patients requiring a period of Observation before a medical decision can be made regarding patient admission vs. discharge. All rooms are equipped with new, state of the art technology to support even the most acute of patients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred however new grads and RNs without hospital experience are encouraged to apply
BLS required prior to start date
ACLS required within 90 days of hire
