HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The Install Technician for the Vehicle Wash division will remove and install various Vehicle Wash equipment. The Install Technician will interact with customers on a daily basis regarding their equipment and installation project.
- Assists Lead Installation Technicians with every aspect of the installation process.
- Perform installation of state-of-the-art vehicle wash equipment
- Has the ability to properly use hand and power tools
- Follows safety rules and procedures at all times
- May work with processes that are unique to a specific site
- Modify or update vehicle wash equipment as required
- Maintains tools and materials in a professional manner
- Develops improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities
- Accurately perceives information from others
- Interfaces with customers and coworkers in an appropriate manner
- Keeps job sites clean, safe and organized
- Has the ability to retain the knowledge and take notes to perform a task after being trained on that task
- Has the ability to learn more advanced tasks once familiar with the job
- Will travel to customer sites through the Midwest, with over 26 weeks overnight travel required per year
- Can read basic plans and interpret measurements for the installation of the equipment
- Must be able to lift heavy objects frequentlyeither independently or with a team member
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures both indoor and outdoor
- Must maintain a good driving record
- Properly maintains a company-provided vehicle
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience and/or Training:
Basic understanding of Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Pneumatic Systems, and Hydraulic Systems
Licenses/Certificates:
Valid Drivers License
Other:
Ability to work weekend rotation
