    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Interventional Technologist is responsible for the overall care and evaluation of patients having invasive procedures performed in the Interventional Lab.

    What you will do in this role:

    The Interventional Technologist will be responsible for circulating, physiologically monitoring patients during procedures.

    Performs sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures, vascular and neuroendovascular procedures, and other physician guided invasive procedures.

    This position reports directly to the supervisor of Interventional Radiology.

    This position will require after hours coverage for acute emergent vascular and neurovascular procedures.

    This role will work directly with multiple Radiologists and Neurovascular Surgeons.


    What qualifications you will need:

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:

    ARRT within 6 months of hire

    SCRQSA within 6 months of hire

    BLS within 30 days of hire

    Education:

    Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT.

    Experience:

    Experience in Neurovascular and General Interventional procedures required.

    Special qualifications:

      An excellent understanding of endovascular and neuroendovascular devices required. Critical thinking skills and high performance in acute settings are needed to excel.
