Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Averas patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

• Perform general nursing care to patients including administration of medications and treatments in accordance with the nursing standards and coordinates patient care activities in the clinic.
• Perform nursing assessment and evaluation of patients and documents information.
• Provide continuity of care through verbal and written communication.
• Oversee appointment booking and maintain timely flow of patient appointments.
• Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
• Obtain pre-authorizations needed for patients. Make appropriate referrals to other providers.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.

Work Schedule

• Hours:
  • Varied Shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • 7:30am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am
  • Every other weekend
  • Every third holiday
  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $30.50-$45.25 per hour
