    Reporting to the Regional Manager of the Northeast Region, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of business development officers to increase new business by identifying, sourcing, and closing viable prospects for factoring deals across a variety of industries.

    • In conjunction with regional management, you will create a strategic plan for building out sales pipelines and entering new industry verticals.
    • Effectively manage the Business Development team in the Northeast Region by instituting daily reviews of sales pipelines , provide real time coaching, applicable KPI management, and training as needed.
    • Develop and conduct prospect meetings and ultimately issue deal proposals by applying an understanding of the prospects industry and unique financial needs.
    • Partner with the underwriting team to create a uniform documentation process across all regions that will tailor solutions to meet the prospects unique needs while effectively managing CITs risk exposure; manage prospect expectations throughout the deal process ensuring a successful close.
    • In partnership with regional management, identify opportunities to cross-sell products/services which include deposits and cash management services.
    • Identify and attend relevant and appropriate industry and regional events and trade shows for networking and new business opportunities as appropriate.
    • Support CITs focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company.
    • Additional responsibilities include developing solid working relationship with prospective borrowers, key referral sources.

    The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is $200,000 - $225,000. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.     Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelors' degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field required; MBA desired
    • Minimum 10 years experience as a Commercial Lender
    • Minimum 5 years experience managing a high-performing sales team
    • Minimum 7 years experience in Factoring, ABL, or consumer products

    Other/Preferred Qualifications:

    • Proven success sourcing and converting prospects to clients
    • Demonstrated presentation skills, negotiating and influencing skills
    • Demonstrated success working collaboratively to achieve team goals
    • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to develop and maintain a contact database and maintain records in SalesForce.com
    • Knowledge of/or experience in consumer product industries like Apparel, Housewares, Furniture, Textile, Consumer Electronics, Toys, Sporting Goods, or Hardware industries a plus
    • Strong network in Factoring industry
