Night Shift Labor and Delivery RN
A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in the central Connecticut region is seeking experienced Night Shift Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses to join their accredited healthcare team.
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will join a health system that operated more than 15 locations across the central Connecticut region. This facility is home to more than 150 licensed beds and the emergency department is responsible for more than 50,000 patients annually. This hospital provides award-winning medical and surgical services including ambulatory care, behavioral health, cardiovascular services, emergency and trauma medicine, critical care, perioperative services, womens health, and much more.
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will work alongside a network of obstetricians and talented obstetric certified nursing and technicians. The Maternity service line partners with local OB/Gyn practices to offer the most comprehensive and patient-centered care to every expecting patient. This facility offers world-class obstetric care including preconception counseling, routine care, high-risk obstetric care, pediatric hospitalist groups, and breastfeeding education programs.
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will work a full-time night shift which consists of three 12 hours shifts per week from 7pm-7am. The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care within the maternity unit. The Registered Nurse must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited program of nursing and current Connecticut state nursing licensure.
