This position will provide services to support electrical/electronic equipment and systems integration design teams.     Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Provide tactical communication and navigation equipment management and support and material ordering status reports.
    • Provide services to support electrical/electronic equipment and systems integration design. Specifically, assist with determining new project costs from known equipment cost. Track actual project execution and orders against budget.
    • Support government communication with program managers. Assist MIPR coordination, budget input and status tracking.
    • Perform physical validation of equipment configuration at the boat builder, government storage facility or custodial activity including repair yards.
    • Provide support to ensure systems, equipment and support items are preserved, packaged, handled and transported properly.
    • Interface with C4 system development contractors and boat builders to ensure the equipment specifications properly integrate with boat specification and the proper considerations on the platform side are accounted for.
    • Attend C4ISR working group meetings or design reviews.
    • Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, project file structure and general technical information file structure.
    • Available for CONUS and possible OCONUS travel.

    Minimum Requirements include:

    • Skilled with MS Office products.
    • Familiar with tactical communication and navigation systems including VHF/UHF LOS Systems, HF Systems, VHF/UHF LOS/SATCOM Systems, Digital Programmable VHF System, Radio Control/Intercom System, IFF System, Blue Force Tracking, Automatic Identification System, DAGR GPS, Commercial Marine Navigation System, Antennas, Equipment mounting racks, Power, control and RF interface cabling, EO/IR, CCFLIR, SEAFLIR, Rover 6 System, Link-16.
    • Familiar with Navy Commands and Organizations.
    • Strong communication, written and documentation skills.
    • Be able to multi-task in high stress situations.
    • Extensive attention to detail, ability to multi-task and the drive to take ownership in ones work.
    • Active Passport or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date.
    • Active Secret Security Clearance
    • ?Minimum of Four years of related experience as Engineering Technician
