Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Technical Services/Quality Intern to join our team in Bath PA for the summer of 2024.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Technical Services Intern Cement Sales. This opportunity is perfect for a student interested in gaining experience and knowledge in the technical side of cement sales. You will have the opportunity to learn about a stable industry as you work in multiple locations. This is a unique opportunity for you to begin your career with a proven leader in the construction materials industry.
- Work in conjunction with current Technical Services Engineers and managers to assist customers, architects, contractors and state authorities
- Assist in the development and testing of concrete mix designs for customers
- Assist with analyses of products to recognize and define problems, generate and implement solutions and measure results
- Analyze competitive activity in the cement industry
- Assist in promoting the cement industry, new products and new applications
- Work safely and follow all Federal and State laws and regulations as well as company and site specific policies
- Any other duties as assigned
This position will reside in Bath, PA.
HERES WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college majoring in chemical engineering, chemistry, or marketing with a technical focus. Must have completed your junior year by May 2024.
- Requires proficient knowledge of applicable tools and technologies to be used on the job including Word, Excel.
- High level written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
