Location: This is an onsite position located in Memphis, TN.
Job Description
The Financial Analyst will be supporting management planning and decision making by identifying, maintaining, and evaluating information, as well as recommending actions. This position is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting a monthly summary of operating results for the Business Units and Manufacturing Plants. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing and reporting KPI's as well as providing special project support to the Controller and CFO.- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of inventory, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Engage with Senior Management Team and Departments heads to identify areas where analysis is required and provide the necessary
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting support.
- Partner with business units to create and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
- Participate in the period end close process by investigating variances and provide explanations.
- Develop/Consolidate/Publish various non-financial and financial reports to support accounting group.
- Identify areas where continuous improvement opportunities exist, develop project plans with stake holders to execute continuous improvement in finance/accounting and other areas.
- Manage data interaction and integration between financial systems by generating exception and error reporting and ensuring timely review and resolution of errors.

Qualifications
Education: BBA in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred
Related Experience: 3-5 years financial and/or general business experience. 2+ years of financial analysis experience. Database software experience a plus.
Equipment/Software Skills: Expert level knowledge in Excel (including VBA). SQL, Scripting languages plus.
