The ICU RN will be providing care for patients in the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit. They will assess, coordinate and prioritize all patient treatments and be in communication with the entire care team as needed. They will also be responsible for ensuring that quality care is maintained. The RN will report to the Nurse Manager of the department.

The critical care nurse should be a strong clinical nurse that has previous hospital inpatient critical care, stepdown, telemetry, and medical surgical experience. They will serve as the advocate for patients and provide opportunities for success resulting in successful outcomes. Theregistered nurse should be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, licensed in the state of North Carolina and BLS Certified.
