An established health system located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Clinical Informatics to join their accredited healthcare team.

This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Director Clinical Informatics will oversee the integration, staff understanding, and application of healthcare information technology. The Nurse Director ensures efficient and effective use of information systems, patient safety, and staff productivity. The Nurse Director will also help develop and maintain the Clinical Informatics education program.

Requirements Include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current license as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Maine
• Progressive experience in Clinical Informatics
• Prior leadership experience in nursing
