Jefferson Wells is seeking an experiencedIndirect Tax Professionalfor a short-term 2-month Hybrid Contract role inDENVER Colorado 80202 for a manufacturing company. Full time 40 hours a week, 3 days in the office and 2 from Home. Someone with indirect tax experience, gathering data, compliance, helping with the exemption process, and entering Certificates and maintaining them. Also working with sales taxes, property taxes, and business licenses.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
• 3+ years professional Tax/Accounting experience
• Software: SAP, TaxWare/Tax Solver
• You have a strong background with 2 to 4 years of experience in tax including researching technical issues as well as the registration and returns processes.
• You enjoy engaging with customers and take a solutions-oriented approach and are comfortable engaging with customers on tax topics and processes.
• You embrace solving problems and always push for change and improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

• Hourly rate of $50to $65an hour with Direct Deposit
