    Description

    Essential Functions

    • Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers, referring physicians, and /or clinics, payers, and supporting transplant staff.
    • Works together as an integrated team and maintains positive relationships.
    • Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
    • Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
    • Maintains knowledge and skills necessary to care for patients in all phases of the transplant process occurring in both the in-patient and out-patient setting

    • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education

    • (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
    Work Experience
    • 3+ years of Transplant experience may be considered in lieu of a BSN Required and
    • 3+ years of nursing experience Required and
    • Transplant experience Preferred
    Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
    • Computer skills Required
    • Microsoft Office Required
    • Electronic Medical Records Required
    Licenses and Certifications
    • Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Required and
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
    Additional Licenses and Certifications
    • Currently Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) otherwise must obtain CCTC Required
    • in the State of Ohio Required and
