    Job Summary

    • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides for the delivery of professional nursing care under the supervision of the provider.
    • Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
    • Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations.
    • Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information.
    • Observe, record and report patients condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider.
    • Instruct patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions.
    • Educate patient and family about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition and maintenance of health and wellness.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
    • One year of clinical practice preferred.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

    • Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of SD and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.

    Work Schedule

    • Monday - Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks
      • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
      • Occasional weekend (One Saturday morning shift every 8-12 weeks)
      • Evening and Saturday Urgent Care rotation

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

    • $22.75- $31.50 per hour
