    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are seeking an experiencedRegistered Nurse RN in Interventional Radiologyto join our dynamic team. In this roleyou will provide high quality nursing care to patients within Imaging Services. You will help provide assessments and care of patients undergoing procedures including PICC lines, thoracentesis, Kyphoplasty and other imaging procedures under moderate sedation. You will work closely with other members of the clinical team, and assist in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patients undergoing innovative inpatient and outpatient procedures within imaging services. Your primary goal is to provide optimum patient care, identify needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document, and evaluate outcomes.Be a part of our team family and apply today.

    • You will assist other Radiology staff in assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluation of outcomes
    • Obtain and record patients health history, examine patient, perform comprehensive assessment in the outpatient and/or inpatient setting
    • Determine the need for and initiate diagnostic/screening test and evaluate and report results
    • Assist with IV preparation of patients and assure rapid transition in to the exam room
    • Evaluate and document patients progress during follow-up or post-procedure assessments
    • In this role, you will provide pre and post procedure education
    • Provide safe medical administration for the patient before, during and after procedure
    • Participates in discharge planning including arranging referrals, prescriptions, and patient education and discharge planning to patient/family
    • You will act as a liaison between Radiology and Nursing units

    What qualifications you will need:
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

    • Associate Degree
