    Responsibilities:

    Job Description:

    • Process month-end plant journal entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations
    • Coordinates and monitors weekly/monthly plant inventory cycle count programs
    • Monitors and maintains plant policies and procedures related to inventory
    • Creates and maintains corporate-wide policies and procedures for inventory related activities
    • Provides quarterly training to field on procedures related to inventory and compliance
    • Analyzes cycle count and inventory data on a rotational basis
    • Prepares inventory/cycle count reporting monthly
    • Coordinates and monitors yearly Q4 inventories for all material types
    • Visits plants on a rotating basis to work on cycle count procedures, compliance, and manage any issues. This will be especially heavy in Q4 during Q4 yearly physicals. Possibility of 15-25% travel on a yearly basis, weighted more heavily in Q4.
    • Develop, implement, and then maintain a program to manage other plant compliance topics. Including but not limited to HR, Shipping/Receiving, Fixed Assets/MRO, and Production.
    • Present summaries and executive-style reporting to management for summarization of compliance
    • Work directly with internal/external audit on resolution of current findings and prevention of future findings
    Qualifications:

    Qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree in accounting required
    • Public accounting or internal audit experience preferred
    • 3+ years in accounting
    • Direct Plant/Manufacturing experience desirable
    • Must have strong analytical skills and experience in analysis
    • Ability to effectively interact with operating units and other departments
