Travel Nurse (RN) Tele/Stepdown (Telemetry/PCU)
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU A5 South Neuro Trauma Surg 48'sShift: Days / 7a-7p (12x4) 48 hours per week, will accept 36'sLength: 13 Weeks
Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 holidays that fall within their contract (or a majority if there are 4 holidays)Requirements:- IN License
- Minimum 2 Years experience
- Proficient Neuro Experience
- Telemetry skills
- Management of Drips skills
- ACLS
- BLS
- Conscious Sedation and Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred
Other Details:- First Time Travelers Accepted
- Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed
- Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles
Due to the Solar Eclipse activity that is forecasted for Indiana in early April, facility will not be allowing any travelers to request April 4th-8th off. Please do not submit any travelers with these RTO dates.MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORLK OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 holidays that fall within their contract (or a majority if there are 4 holidays).Holidays include- Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day and New Years Eve/DayLocal travelers with permanent residence within 50 milesFirst Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLSSkillset Requirements: Minimum 2 Year Required, Telemetry, Proficient Neuro Experience, and Management of DripsSkillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Level 1 Trauma ExperienceFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if neededStaffing Ratios: 1:3-4 (Will Rarely See 5 During Emergencies)Unit Information: CVAs, Hydrocephalus, brain tumors and resections, seizures, and TBIs; shooting, stabbings, MVCs, people falling over rugs etc. GI surgeries and large wound cleaning and closures.COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not RequiredFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions OnlyUnit: A5 South Neuro Trauma Surg PCUEpic Travel Staffing:- Day 1 health insurance coverage and comprehensive benefits options

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
Estimated Weekly Rate: $2754 per week
