    Position Summary: Six Flags Over Texas is seeking a creative and detail-oriented leader to join our Entertainment Team! The position directly supervises daily operations of costuming for our Characters and Shows. This role reports directly to the Entertainment Sr. Managerial Supervisor.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and provide leadership to seasonal Entertainment Team Members, including periodic evaluations.
    • Work a minimum of 30 hours a week, with overtime available during busy seasons.
    • Manage Warner Brothers and DC brand/performance quality control of all Character appearances
    • Clean and maintain upkeep of a variety of specialty costumes including, but not limited to, Looney Tunes, Fur Characters, Character overdress, DC Characters, show and dance wear, Fright Fest, Holiday in the Park, and other seasonal entertainment, and general department.
    • Have extensive costuming skills, including sewing, fabrication, patching, and stain removal.
    • Create schedules for Costuming Team Members based on Park and Department needs.
    • Lead a Costuming Team of 4-6 people or more during Fright Fest.
    • Transport costumes to and from off-site Character appearances as needed.
    • Operate in a safe and efficient manner while holding safety to the highest regard.
    • Responsible for the general costume appearance of Face and Specialty Characters, Fur Characters, Ambassadors, Ushers, and in-house, live stage show Performers.
    • Collaborate with outsourced production companies on costuming requirements and care for live stage shows.
    • Keep all areas clean, organized, and sanitary for all Guests and Team Members.
    • Develop and regularly checks an inventory system for all costumes and props.
    • Train, audit, adhere to labor laws and guidelines to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Park regulations.
    • Model and enforce all Park policies and procedures and maintain all Six Flags standards.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Candidates must:

    • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
    • Be punctual and have a good attendance record.
    • Be able to work in all outdoor conditions for extended periods of time.
    • Be able to keep a detailed inventory of all costumes, accessories, and props.
    • Be able to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
    • Be professional, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and work well with others.
    • Have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Be able to manage multiple tasks and plan both short and long-term.
    • Be proficient in basic math, computer skills, and use of software, including Microsoft Office.
    • Have strong leadership and motivational skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to non-disclosure agreements.
    • Be proficient in costume design, with an understanding of costume functionality during performances.
    • Be able to build new costumes and make alterations to create revised costumes in tight timeframes.
    • Complete day-to-day fixes and launder used pieces in a timely fashion.
    • Have detailed and strong knowledge of acceptable care guidelines for varying fabrics/costumes.
    • Have detailed knowledge of Looney Tunes and DC Characters.
    • Be at least 18 years old.
    • Possess a valid drivers license and a clear driving record.
    • Have a minimum of one year's experience in a leadership role.

    Preferred Candidates will have:

    • One year's experience in a Theme Park/Entertainment environment.
    • Five years of costuming experience.
