    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are seeking aSurgical Techniciantoassist the multi-disciplinary health care teamin clinical support functions andpromote a safe, compassionate patient care environment.TheSurgical Technicianwill work in collaborationunder the direction of the RN and Surgeonduring surgical procedures.

    What will you do in this role?

    • Performscrub duties for various surgical procedures

    • Demonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical cases

    • Communicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

    What qualifications will you need?

    • Vocational School Graduate
    • Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST), or Technician in Surgery (NCCT)
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • Previous scrubbing experienceis preferred
