    Junior Buyer

    Description

    Sourcing and Vendor Management:

    • Identify and assess potential suppliers, building and sustaining strong relationships.
    • Conduct negotiations for favorable pricing, terms, and agreements.

    Purchase Order Processing:

    • Generate and oversee purchase orders with precision and adherence to schedules.
    • Proactively communicate with suppliers to address issues or delays.

    Market Research and Analysis:

    • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and raw material availability.
    • Analyze market conditions for informed procurement decisions.

    Cost Negotiation and Budget Management:

    • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts for significant cost savings.
    • Collaborate with the finance team for effective budget management.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Work closely with quality control teams to ensure materials meet high standards.
    • Address quality issues with suppliers promptly.

    Documentation and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on procurement activities and cost savings.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Familiarity with food and beverage manufacturing processes is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software is desirable.

    Full Benefits offered

    Pay:$75,000.00 - $80,000.00
