• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients; identify various cardiac arrhythmias and detect heart rhythm/rate variations
• Interpret cardiac rhythm and document in the patients medical record according to the departmental standards.
• Ensure appropriate and timely response to alarms. Follow escalation process to ensure optimal patient care
• Ensure correct patient identification information on all assigned telemetry monitors
• Troubleshoot telemetry problems and assist the nursing staff with the sam

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Monitor Tech, EKG, Patient care experience
