An exciting opportunity has opened for a Director Behavioral Health Nurse at an Acute Care Hospital in Coastal Washington State.

The Behavioral Health Department of this well-respected Community Hospital has been providing exceptional Behavioral Health Services to the community for many years and prides itself on employee satisfaction.

The Director Behavioral Health Nurse will oversee both the Behavioral Health and Wound Center Units. The Director Behavioral Health Nurse will work closely with the Medical Director Behavioral Health Manager to ensure policies and procedures are being followed for both nursing and counseling services.

In addition, the Director Behavioral Health Nurse will oversee department staff including Nurses, Counselors, and Techs. The Director Behavioral Health Nurse will manage the department budgets, inventory, and department goal setting. The Director Behavioral Health Nurse will direct and manage the hiring and onboarding of new employees to the department and serve as a mentor and resource to new and existing staff.

Requirements:

• BSN required
• Wound care experience preferred
• Progressive Management Experience
• Registered Nurse
