Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Registered Nurse

12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.
Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license in hand at the time of application.
This role will require floating to multiple units
COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)
36 guaranteed hours
Unit will do 48 HRS
Patient Types: Medical patients, post-op appy, chole, total hip and knee, COPD, non-acute covid patients,
Mandatory Skills: Basic MS skills
Floating: All MS units (travelers first)
EMR/Equipment: IV Pumps/Pyxis Medication Dispensing System/Phillips Tele Monitors
Scrub Color: Any color
Notes: Three Units under one management team with one director and 3 managers. Two charge nurses on medical unit with 42 beds. Surg/Ortho unit, 24 beds, one charge typically free or reduced load of patients.
Aides to help with vitals, blood glucose, rounding, toileting, ambulation, meals, bathing, etc on all three units depending on census. Acute Respiratory unit is a 16-bed unit, with COPD patients, non-critical covid + patients, PPE available-N95, face shields, CAPRS, goggles, etc.
Floating between the three units may happen but typically we try and home you into one unit that has the greatest need.
