    Health & Safety Manager

    Clean Harbors is looking for a Health and Safety Supervisorto join their safety conscious team! The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for designs, develops, implements and oversees the organization's environmental, health and safety programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities and to ensure that all facilities are in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities are within the Environmental Health and Safety Function.

    Position may require travel away from home up to30%.

    • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
    • Provide leadership and advice for maintaining workplace health & safety compliance
    • Implement health & safety standards with field personnel
    • Conducts studies and investigations to ensure compliance with government safety and health laws, standards and regulations, and industrial hygiene. Assist and coach site management to perform safety functions
    • Conduct health & safety training
    • Investigates accidents and promotes safety-conscious work performance and training programs.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety devices, processes, and procedures

    What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

    • Bachelor's degree or relevant expierence required
    • 5 to 7+ year of progressive health and safety experience or certifications
    • Valid driver's license requirement
    • Previous industrial experience preferred Successful candidates must have legal authorization to work in USA on a full-time basis for any employer. Only those candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
