    General Manager / Chef Manager

    Role Overview:

    Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a passionate and hands-onGeneral Manager/Chef Managerto lead our food service operations atNovartisinMorris Plains, New Jersey. This is a unique opportunity to oversee a dynamic culinary program that includes:

    • ACorporate Cafserving breakfast and lunch
    • Catering operationsfor daily needs and special events
    • Pantry servicessupporting workplace hospitality

    About the Role:

    As the on-site leader, youll serve as bothGeneral Manager and Executive Chef, with a focus split approximately70% culinaryand30% administrative/operational. Youll be responsible for driving excellence in food quality, service delivery, and client satisfaction.

    Incentives: M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, no weekends and no holidays What You'll Do:
    • Lead all aspects ofculinary operations, including menu planning, ordering, inventory, and catering production
    • Manage theclient relationship, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and partnership
    • Overseefinancial performance, including budgeting and cost control
    • Supervise and develop a small team of2 hourly employees
    • Ensure compliance withfood safety and sanitation standards
    • Foster a culture of innovation, hospitality, and teamwork
