Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Network Engineer position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides support to Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems.
• Embedded with airmen to ?ensure their systems are available for defensive cyber missions.
• Post mission, return equipment to normal.???????
• Analyzes organizations needs, conducts technical research, and implements appropriate solutions to meet Government needs and comply with established standards.
• Provides Enterprise network administration, configuration, and infrastructure management for servers, CISCO switches, CISCO routers, to include; wireless infrastructure, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
• Ensures high availability of critical applications and servers while meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Recommends new infrastructure technologies to the leadership.
• Administers and configures Cisco based network infrastructure.
• Designs, plans, manages, maintains, and supports network-related infrastructure.
• Supports efforts with network design and technical direction.
• Ensures environment is properly maintained and designed to support the IDCS mission.
• Supports development and integration of applications and infrastructure services
• Assists with network coordination, identify flaws and resolve system integration issues.
• Establishes, configures, administers, and manages authentication and load balancing servers.
• Monitors security of devices and implement new configurations and upgrades for Enterprise devices.
• Plans and executes Enterprise software and hardware upgrades and revisions.
• Conducts system analyses to resolve configuration and equipment problems.
• Interfaces with third party vendors to assist with problem resolution.
• Serves as focal point for problem resolution for IDCS network issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8+ years of related experience; additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree OR 6+ years of prior relevant experience with a Masters degree.
• Experience in network engineering, configuration management, problem management, and performance management
• Experienced with operational and security hardening configuration for firewall solutions.
• Must have experience with CISCO networking equipment.
• Ability to utilize CISCO Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Ability to utilize CISCO PRIME
• Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE) certification to start.
• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
