Engineer Project Development
HPC-Industrial Powered by Clean Harbors is currently seeking a Project Engineerto join their safety conscious team inLudington, MI. As a Project Engineeryouwill provide service and support for projects within the national water group. This position is responsible for assisting in technical efforts related to the design, process evaluation, and optimization of water services projects in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner within established timelines and in compliance with both company and customer quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project planning, coordination, process hazard analysis, compliance and risk management related to project services.
- Technical support for sales and customers with regards to equipment application, project planning and technical expertise.
- Project Management and client relationships.
- Ability to work in a team environment with management, operations, and other divisions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, hazard analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Provide hands-on support and training to field personnel.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Resolves problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Interacts with Customers, management, and personnel to resolve safety, quality, and concerns. (Both internal & external customers)
- Assist in permitting processes for water service projects.
- Able to travel 50 % of the time.
- Support on-site operations at different locations around the country.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
- 5 to 7 years of experience in line of work.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- A combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge and experienced with OSHA standards, including Process Safety Management (PMS)
- Experience with operating in industry
- Must be able to lift and or carry 10 lbs.
