Job Description

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions.

What You Will Do:
- Manually picks full-case orders and stacks them onto pallets using a scanner/tablet.
- Ensure proper staging and identification once an order has been completely picked.
- Use various pieces of equipment forklift and electric pallet jack to move pallets.
- Verify quantities, quality of items and proper labeling of products that are being shipped.
- Examine all packaging and contents of items for quality and cleanliness.
- Verify all packaging information against the packing list and sales order.
- Coordinate with other departments such as production and shipping.
- Manage shipping box assembly, induction for packaging and label preparation/application.
- Load trailers with packed boxes and pallets.
- Identify items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicate with Supervisor and/or Lead.
- Maintain the 5S cleanliness of the warehouse and shipping dock following all safety procedures and policies at Purolite.
Position Details:
- Plant location: 3620 G Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134
- Work week and shift: [Night shift position with hours between 8:30 pm to 5:00 am, Sunday through Thursday with optional overtime per business needs.]

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year plant or warehouse experience.
- 1 year forklift operating experience within the past five years with Purolite training provided.
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
