Rivermont, a New Story School located at 1354 8th St SW Roanoke, VA is seeking a qualifiedMental Health Associateto work under the collaborative supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and Principal, the Mental Health Associate will provide instructional support to assigned student(s) implementing assigned tasks, methods, and techniques from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behavior (VB) for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other developmental disabilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team to implement appropriate services.
- Provide instructional support to students using ABA and VB techniques.
- Maintain student confidentiality per agency policy, FERPA/HIPAA privacy rule regulations, and student/counselor confidentiality.
