Our Facilities Operations Manager will lead our team to manage work orders in our CMMS-Maximo, and allocate resources to oversee the day to day operations on campus. Our best candidate will have a demonstrated history of successful client interface and client presentations, payroll oversight, budgetary oversight on some services and will oversee and coordinate projects. This role supervises the account as the secondary manager in the Resident District Manager's absence, and has full responsibility including supervision of other managers with all facilities rolling up including custodial, maintenance and grounds, for a very large integrated operation.
Demonstrated history of strong financial acumen is required for budgeting on projects and labor totaling several million dollars per year. This is a mega account with multiple managers of maintenance, preventative maintenance functions rounding, interviewing, staff, trains and develop employee. Reporting to the Resident District Manager, oursuccessfulcandidate will provide strong strategic level Facilities Operations leadership. Day to day responsibilities will include interviewing, hiring and developing the team, providing overall planning, establishing and maintaining effective customer and client rapport, and providing direction and guidance to the facilities team.IFM operations include: Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Repair, Environmental Services.
We are looking for candidates who have
- Experience managing QA and Safety
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus
- Manages work orders, and our CMMS Maxmo
- Experience managing mechanicals (HVAC, Plumbing, Electric)
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building
- A proven track record of successful client presentations, financial reporting and facilities planning
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape and energy management
- Strong People Skills and Professional communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence employee engagement and training, demonstrate excellent customer service skills
