Remedy Staffing is Hiring a Process Engineer for a Manufacturing Client in Des Moines, IA!

Shift: 1st

Pay: $32-34/hour (DOE)

Process Engineer Job Duties:

• Develops a continuous improvement vision
• Actively coordinates and supports the implementation of continuous improvement systems.
• Trains, coaches and motivates team members in the understanding and adoption of new principles and techniques related to continuous improvement
• Manages Lean and/or Six Sigma projects by leading cross-functional teams
• Assesses process capabilities including equipment utilization, staffing and supply chain
• Monitors process performance compared to capabilities and generates recommendations for process improvements
• Identifies process constraints and monitors performance through the use of Overall Equipment Effectiveness
• Assists in troubleshooting, upgrading and testing of processes and equipment
• Develops best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output through the use of standard work and/or automation
• Coordinates with EHS on ergonomic and safety issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, industrial technology or related field
• Five years of work experience
• Associates degree and 10 years of related experience
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt required, Black Belt preferred
• Experience with Minitab is preferred
• Microsoft Office and AutoCad skills
