Supervisor IS
HPC-Industrial, Powered by Clean Harbors, in Westlake, LA, is looking for a Supervisor IS (Industrial Services)to join their safety conscious team!
This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility for the proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services. TheSupervisor ISserves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Industrial, outdoor setting
LOCATION OF WORK:Westlake, LA
WORK SCHEDULE: TBD
EXPERIENCE: Must have experience in Vac Trucks & Hydroblasting
REQUIREMENTS:Candidate must be in possession of valid TWIC before applying for position. Candidate must also be able to pass through a DISA background check, drug screen, & physical.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
- Plans and insures that all personnel assigned to the project are completely aware of their responsibilities and are capable of carrying them out safety and timely.
- Executes assigned projects in a safe, efficient, and profitable manner.
- Organizes all the necessary resources for the successful completion of all assigned projects.
- Makes arrangements for the delivery and pick-up of all required third party equipment and supplies.
- Maintains a good line of communication with the customer regarding current job status and job progress.
- Completes all paperwork accurately and timely.
- Performs the primary thinking called for and encompassed by the overall job description.
- Provides timely and accurate reports to management.
- Ensures internal audits are conducted for compliance with laws, regulations, and policies and procedures.
- Keeps updated on current laws and regulations affecting areas of responsibility.
- Adheres to Company policies and work requirements.
- Prepares Performance Planning & Review forms no less frequently than annually and works in accordance with this plan.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates

- Supervisory experience in the industrial services or petrochemical/refining/maintenance service industries.
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
- Must have at least 3-5 of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have experience in Vac Trucks & Hydroblasting.
- Must have valid TWIC card.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in people management.
- Strong knowledge in operating equipment used in service line.
- Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
- Current certification as an authorized Company driver.
- CDL with endorsements, strongly preferred.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
