Sodexo is seeking aRegistered Dietitian to come join their dynamic team at SSM St Joseph Hospital West in Lake St Louis, a 215 bed acute care hospital. The position will work full time with excellent benefits.

We are looking for candidates who will:

• provide education to patients, as well as staff and work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
• possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment.
• have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• strong time management and organizational skills are needed to be successful in this position

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• familiarity with the Nutrition Care Process and Electronic Health Records, facility uses EPIC
• strong comprehension of the principles of clinical nutrition practice;
• a Registered Dietitian, eligible for licensure in the state; and
• the ability to meet DOH/state/federal and company standards

Basic Education Requirement -Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note:For those seeking registration after 2023, a masters degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
