Join us in expanding our impact on students, parents and schools in this significant role representing Right At School in the finance department.

As an Accounting Specialist, you will:

• Own Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, onboarding new vendors, tracking W-9s, and processing 1099s
• Review company credit card expenses and expense reimbursements using Ramp
• Assist with Accounts Receivable collections processes and invoice creation
• Prepare preliminary account reconciliations for review during month end close
• Collect and process physical mail received in office
• Assist with government subsidy billing and collection processes
• Assist with annual financial audit and annual tax return
• Ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree with 2+ years work experience, preferably in an administrative, customer service, or accounting function
• A resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and ownership over processes
• Strong attention to detail
• A creative, problem-solving mindset
• Eagerness to complete a tasks on-time and correctly
• Proficiency in Excel
• QuickBooks experience is preferred
