The CVICU Registered Nurse will work in a top hospital for the Critical Care specialty as they have received the highest-level Beacon Award for Excellence for Critical Care Nursing. Their critical care teams focus on evidence-based practice, utilizing appropriate staffing and staff engagement, measuring outcomes, and ensuring the highest level of knowledge, learning, and development for their nurses.

The Critical Care Registered Nurse CVICU will report to the CVICU Manager and will work with an experienced staff of ICU Nurses, Nurse Techs, PCTs, and other Critical Care support staff. The CVICU RN Intensive Care will work in a 10+ bed CVICU that generally has 2-4 open heart surgeries, six days per week. The patient population of this ICU is open hears, TAVRs, TVR, MVR, AVR, CABG, and more. This unit cares for patient on ECMO, CRRT, and swans.
