Job Details

Position Overview:
The company is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Controller to join their executive leadership team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the companys financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support continued growth.

Key Tasks:
Lead and manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage compliance with state and federal tax reporting requirements
Oversee and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business performance and strategic decision-making
Supervise and develop the accounting team

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader in a fast-paced environment
Background in the health and wellness industry strongly preferred
Strong experience in DTC and Ecommerce business models
Proficient with Shopify and Avalara
Deep understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
CPA or relevant certification preferred, but not required
