    Sodexo Government Services is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced Executive Chef 2 to fill a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of catering execution for a high-profile account with a government agencylocated in Fort George Meade, MD.Only the highest caliber individuals qualify for these selected positions.Fort George G. Meade is located in Maryland, midway between the cities of Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, DC.

    Position contingent upon obtaining a top secret security clearance from the United States government based on a federal background investigation, which will include a polygraph.

    - Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.


    The successful candidate will:

    • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting;
    • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
    • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
    • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
    • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Basic Education Requirement -Associate's Degreeor equivalent experience
    Basic Management Experience - 2 years
    Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
