    Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Registered Nurse

    Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

    Experience:

    10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required.

    Experience with Epic is required.

    Requirements:

    This role may require floating to additional units and locations

    Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

    COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

    Traveler needs to float between like units based on need

    Guaranteed Hours: 36h Contract Approved

    This is primarily a renal telemetry unit with a mix or Renal Failure patients and Med/Surg or Med/Tele patients.

    Hemodialysis is offered on the unit in a dialysis suite. A local kidney center is contracted to perform the dialysis treatments, so travelers will not be required to perform the dialysis.

    This unit is a great learning opportunity for travelers looking to improve their knowledge on treating patients with conditions such as Renal Failure, CHF, CM, Pneumonia, Sepsis, Cellulitis, Afib and Acute Kidney Injury. Travelers should be well versed in administering Cardiac drips, assisting with ICU transfers, and telemetry needs.

    Scrub Color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)

    -If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only).
