    Description

    Dynetics group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented System Administrator to join our Dayton, Ohio office. The candidate will join a diverse team primarily focused on the modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of aerospace weapons, sensors, and related command-and-control entities.

    The employee in this role will deploy, monitor, and sustain software services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability. This challenging position requires a diverse set of technical and task management skills and allows for the opportunity to contribute immediately to important, meaningful work.

    Your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Monitor and maintain an enterprise services environment
    • Perform configuration updates and maintenance activities to patch, secure, and maintain systems
    • Respond to, and help resolve, issues that degrade system or network performance to minimize downtime
    • Support local air-gapped networks
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure that hardware needs are met

    Qualifications:

    Candidate must have a minimum of 6years of relevant work experience or a Bachelors degree from an accredited institute with at least 2year of relevant work experience.

    • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
    • DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE) on hire date
    • A working knowledge of both Windows and Linux-based information systems
    • Basic understanding of networking concepts and principles: OSI, LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6
    • Experience performing system administration tasks such as installing, maintaining, monitoring, recovering, rebuilding, upgrading, patching, etc.

    Candidate must have strong written communication skills, possess good people skills, strong problem-solving skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the ability to work with minimal supervision in the fulfillment of daily operations.

    Candidate must be a resident of the Dayton, OH area or be willing to relocate to the Dayton, OH area.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with scripting tools/technologies: Python, Bash, Powershell, Perl, Batch
    • Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Puppet
    • Experience maintaining systems and services in an air-gapped environment
    • Knowledge of security policies such as DISA STIGs and general vulnerability management
    • Certifications with major system vendors such as Microsoft, Red Hat, VMware, etc.
    • Experience with DevSecOps tools/concepts: Docker, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, etc.

    Security Requirements:

    U.S. Citizenship and a current Final Top Secret/SSBI Clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Must possess active SCI clearance with current investigation (within last 4.5 years) and be able to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
