Our client in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking an Assembler to join their team. The ideal candidate will have teamwork, ethics, problem solving, critical thinking, and active listening skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Shrewsbury, MA
Schedule and Pay rate: Monday to Friday: 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) at $17 an hour and 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) at $18.70 an hour.

Whats the Job?

• Manually or by fork truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks.
  
• Responsible for accurate cycle count.
  
• Load raw materials or finished products on skids or hand trucks.
  
• Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing and cardboard.
  
• Build wooden crates for shipping products.
  

Whats Needed?

• At least some production, warehouse experience or related experience.
  
• Requires ability to select, count receive, issue and package materials, parts and products and move them to designated areas, ensuring document and shipment accuracy.
  
• Requires ability to operate a forklift truck and pass written and practical certification exam.
  
• Load, unload and move materials at plant, yard, or other work site.
  
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
