This hospital has 60 acute care beds, including 6 specialty care beds.     The InpatientDirector of Acute Care Services will join a medical team of professionals that is known for providing high quality care to each and every patient. The services include: emergency department, health center, urgent care, physical therapy, skilled nursing facility, laboratory, imaging and labor & delivery. DON will oversee the Medical Surgical Department as well as Critical Care. Reporting up to the Chief Nursing Officer, DON will oversee a Manager, Supervisor, and 20+ other staff members within the facility. The responsibilities may vary from training new staff members to directly caring for patients.

    This facility is looking for an experience Director to step in and help the department with all current needs. AWyoming state nursing license as well as at least 3+ years of management experience in a similar role is required for consideration. The candidate must also have experience with balancing clinical and fiscal needs of the critical care/med-surgdepartment in their past. It is important to note that driving performance in quality metrics, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives is an important part of this role.
