    Days: Monday - Friday

    Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

    The Research Technologist (RT) will be responsible and accountable for the successful management and implementation of multiple research service projects while concurrently contributing to all ARI product lines. The Research Technologist will work in tandem with the other Project Managers, Clinical Research Coordinators and multiple Principal Investigators to contribute to product and project completion and fulfillment.

    The Research Technologist will collaborate with the entire ARI Team on all issues and opportunities impacting ARI and provide meaningful input as necessary to further the companys endeavors and help achieve its goals.

    Essential Key Responsibilities:

    • Understand process flow and participate in all Study development stages from initial inquiry phase to feasibility and budget development, materials and logistics, planning and scheduling leading to successful orchestration of Study activities.
    • Assist in conducting post-Study evaluations targeted at increasing efficiency and improving margins for future Studies.
    • Become familiar with all active study specifications and requirements associated with each and every active ARI Study. Work with the supervising Product Manager to establish work role and assist the ARI Team in meeting all timelines and Study objectives.
    • Understand ARI Quality Assurance Program and work to assure the consistent quality output of all ARI service and product lines.
    • Become proficient working with ARIs electronic project management tool. Ensure that all live counts are up to date where appropriate and ensure that all project data is entered accurately and in accordance with all specifications.
    • Assume overall project management responsibilities when requested to ensure timely completion of active studies leading to successful attainment of ARI Goals and Objectives.
    • Work with Project Managers, PIs and CRCs in providing timely responses to client new project inquiries and requests.
    • Assist in the training and on-boarding process of new CRCs when requested. Work with the ARI Management and Training and Development team to implement the ARI training program resulting in equipping new CRCs with the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to operationalize ARI activities in their respective site locations.

    Education:

    • Pathology Assistant or advanced Med-tech degree and certification preferred. BA/BS/MA/MS science related degree preferred.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 2-5 years experience as an Instrument Operator, Laboratory Manager or equivalent in a licensed and certified laboratory setting
    • Selected individual must possess in depth understanding of Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
    • Applicant must possess experience working with highly detailed clinical research protocols and be able to understand and put into practice technical procedures necessary to complete research objectives.
    • Experience or knowledge of histology, cytology, molecular biology and pathology strongly desired.
    • Prior supervisory or management experience not required but strongly desired.

    Additional Desired Requirements:

    • Good communications and patient skills
    • Familiar with Microsoft Office programs with emphasis on Excel.
    • Well versed in medical terminology relevant to the field of Oncology and Clinical Pathology.
    • Ability to understand and abide by FDA Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
