    Rooted in the pharmacist-patient relationship, our Outcomes business brings together the relationships and capabilities of several existing Cardinal Health businesses including OutcomesMTM, mscripts, and TelePharm and helps pharmacies, payers and pharmaceutical companies address challenges like medication adherence and close other critical gaps in healthcare.
    The Outcomes digital ecosystem currently supports a network of 23 million patients and 60,000+ pharmacy sites nationwide to streamline pharmacy workflows, enhance patient engagement and deliver clear insights. OutcomesMTM contracts with more than 50 U.S. health plans-including Medicare plan sponsors, commercial plans, employers, Medicaid and other state programs-to provide MTM coverage to more than 5 million patients. The company links contracted plans with more than 100,000 local chain, independent and health-system pharmacy providers.
    We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our pharma offering who is excited to help imagine, define, and build the future of healthcare. You will enjoy this role if you are naturally curious and enjoy working with customers and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver new value propositions for the pharmaceutical market. You will gain an understanding of market needs, opportunities, patient engagement priorities, and competitors already in the market. You will drive multiple elements of the product development lifecycle, from identifying and defining opportunities to socialization and execution of the new value proposition across business stakeholders, development teams, and customers.
    Accountabilities
    Directors of Product Management are responsible for researching, developing, and launching new products for the company. This role will also be responsible for putting together product and investment roadmaps and strategies to help the company further build out our pharma offering.
    Responds to company initiatives by driving new products to meet customer needs
    Analyzes market research, trends, projections and innovations to formulate new product concepts and designs
    Define and communicate a compelling vision for your product(s)
    Define and implement key measures for overall commercial product health, communicate those measures regularly, and optimize based on results
    Demonstrates the knowledge to define the business dynamics necessary to consider portfolio expansion including market size, barriers to entry, differentiated value, regulatory assessment and existing portfolio alignment
    Leads the product development effort with key stakeholders such as Information Technology, Sales, Operations, Pricing and customers
    Possesses the expertise to establish and/or coordinate a commercialization strategy to include product proforma, branding and sales strategies, communication vehicles, training and pilot site deployment.
    Be hands-on with internal and external stakeholders to build a deep understanding of how value is derived from our commercial products
    Continually update stakeholders on the commercial product development work as it unfoldsweighing costs and benefits with a focus on always delivering value
    Build trust and strong relationships at all levels
    Consults with vendor/supplier partners as required for product development.
    Operationalizes product launch with coordination of broader customer engagement.
    Uses project management skills to manage projects from initiation through closing to successfully meet project objectives and deliver on timeline commitments
    Qualifications
    Bachelors and Advanced degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.12+ years experience in related field, preferred.
    An understanding of strategy, marketing, and finance principles.
    Deep understanding of pharmaceutical company brand patient engagement needs
    Have proven experience product managing or performing product management-like activities within a B2B or B2B2C space
    Have experience developing and communicating compelling value propositions to earn stakeholder buy-in
    Have a balance of technical confidence and business experience within a complex industry
