• Greeting and directing patients, visitors and physicians upon their arrival to the department
• Demonstrate the ability to process proper forms, schedule procedures, input and work on the CRT, and coordinate the desk area of the patient care unit
• Order entry via the CRT for all physician's orders on patients, general office duties for the unit, phone coordination and conveying overall outstanding customer service
• Demonstrate good telephone skills and able to assist others in a courteous manner, following up on the caller's needs
• Maintain confidentiality with all information
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Basic Life Support

• Knowledge of patient assistance and care procedures

• Knowledge of basic methods of personal hygiene

• Understanding of medical terminology
