    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are seeking a Radiology Technician II for Regional Medical Center.

    • You will operate conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment in order to obtain radiographs of designated body areas.
    • You may perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures.
    • You will serve as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow.

    Qualifications:

    • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist.
    • Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit required within one year of hire.
    • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course.
    • Knowledge of diagnostic principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program.
    • Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system.
    • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language.

    This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

    Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women.
