Position Description

The SAP Business Analyst supports the liaison between the business community and the IT groups operating as subject matter expert for the systems and processes used. The role is heavily focused on understanding the current state of key business processes and owning change which enhances the use of system capabilities, drives process standardization, and promotes industry best practices. Requires a high-level understanding of systems, industry, and end-user requirements. The Information Systems Department serves as the primary business partner to IT with oversight for systems governance and spending as well as responsibility for driving greater leverage of the IT platform and management of master data.

Key Accountabilities:

• Elicit and analyze business needs for system capabilities, enhancements, or reporting to document the process and desired solution attributes
• Helping the business to streamline and improve processes in finance, accounting, and operations function
• Prepare current and future state documentation for all processes handled
• Assist in ownership of the process to collect, manage, and execute business requirements from design to post-implementation, including training/support
• Collaborate with users and IT to establish and enhance understanding of business processes in our systems
• Participate in cross-functional project teams, collaborating with application and business teams for projects local and global
• Responsible for post-acquisition data migration conversion reconciliations and governance as part of the Integration projects.
• Partner with team members to develop project schedules, reports, and documentation. May be required to act as project managers for quick win projects
• Own the development, documentation, and communication of business system rules, definitions, structures, and processes; responsible for creation and upkeep of process-based testing scripts
• Enable best practices and enhance the S4 HANA (SAP) and associated systems
• Conduct root cause analysis of system defects through engagement of technical and business teams to identify, sequence, and implement solutions that prevent a recurrence
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the systems governance process; provide training and support on appropriate practices for documentation of the business process, business requirements, and test plans
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing of system enhancements and new applications, including initial root cause analysis of failure.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• BS in Business with a preference for Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science majors (CPA or pursuing preferred) or a similar discipline
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, procurement, or business analysis
• Minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to source-to-pay, plan-to-inventory or order-to-cash cycles.
• Exposure to the business functions of a manufacturing enterprise from an operation, finance, supply chain, or business analysis perspective.

Skills/ Qualifications:

• Comfortable operating in a dynamic, complex, and changing environment
• Able to work independently, adapting as necessary in a change-oriented culture, elevating conflicting priorities for clarification as they arise
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong desire to solve complex business problems through an understanding of business processes, ERP structure, and system capabilities
• Ability to propose and evaluate solutions to satisfy business needs
• Intermediate finance and analytical skills with a basic understanding of IFRS
• Strong collaborators who are comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Position-Specific Work Requirements:

• May be required to travel up to 15% - 20% of the time based on business needs
• Must comply and acknowledge the 'Refresco Home-based Job Requirements' policy reviewed during new hire's onboarding.
• This position requires travel for on-site on-boarding at the onset of employment, for a period of 2 weeks, possibly longer.
• This position requires Spring and Fall travel for week long department Summit meetings in Tampa.
• Due to the impact that this role has on Refresco North American operations, travel on short notice to provide business critical support may be required.
