    About the unit

    Our Visiting Nurses Association is our Home Care Skilled Nursing Team for West-Central areas of Michigan. We are accepting applications from experienced RNs, LPN's, and New Grads!? For experienced RNs this is an autonomous position that drives you to use all of your top nursing skills and critical thinking. Working in home health enables you to treat the patient in the comfort of their home, where patients are able to thrive and own their own health care. We create personalized assignments close to home that enable our nurses to visit between 5-7 patients per shift.From Ludington, to Baldwin, to Nunica and south through Kent County, Ottawa County and as far south as Gun Lake, our Corewell Health West, Visiting Nurses Team goes the distance to provide outstanding patient care

    Scope of work

    Under the direct supervision of the Nursing Manager, and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to access and implement the treatment plan for patients. The RN assesses monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.

    Qualifications

    Associates in Nursing Required

    Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years

    MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

    MI Drivers License Required

    AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days

    or

    • Required High School Diploma or equivalent

    • MI Drivers License Required
    • MI License Practical Nursing (LPN) required
    • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
