The Assistant Nurse Manager of Telemetry will support the Nurse Manager to oversee the Inpatient Telemetry Unit. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager Telemetry include overseeing day-to-day operations, staffing, payroll, assisting with new hire education, and providing direct patient care as needed.

As the leader and nurse resource of the unit, the Assistant Nurse Manager Telemetry will be a hands-on leader and have a recent clinical background working in a telemetry or medical surgical department of an acute care hospital. Additionally, the Assistant Nurse Manager must have their COVID-19 Vaccination, have their North Carolina or Compact RN license (or willing to obtain temporary license prior to starting), and hold prior clinical leadership experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Assistant Nurse Manager.
