    Job Description Summary:

    Maximus is searching for a Facilities Specialist Support professional for a team in Arlington, VA.

    This position supports the strategic and day-to-day operations of a Federal Government facility and will require direct interaction with a mix of federal and contractor support staff. The candidate will routinely exercise independent judgment and discretion and must be able provide sound recommendations and courses of action to government personnel to meet mission requirements consistent with federal, departmental, and local guidelines.


    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Provide day-to-day assistance and application of security management, support to day-to-day business operations and security oversight of a SAPF/SCIF at the Pentagon and/or kiosk location within the National Capital Region.
    Manages, assigns, assists, and ensures the thorough completion of all repair and maintenance work order requests.
    Maintains stock of necessary parts and furniture for use in each facility locally and off site.
    Coordinates deliveries of parts, building supplies and furniture supplies.
    Access to Unclassified, Secret, TS, and TS/SCI, SAP systems and information required to respond to and answer facilities related phone calls, emails, tickets, and in-person requests communicated and tracked through unclassified, secret, and TS communications and tracking systems.
    Coordinate and follow up with other Facilities Office personnel, other units, and outside vendors to successfully complete task requirements.
    Confirm and support scheduled meetings and off-site events by providing security guidance and conference room set ups.
    Maintain facility door keys roster, logging issuance and return of keys, to include access cards.
    Coordinate outside vendors visiting the facility to facilitate security, performing escort duties and scheduling requirements.
    Perform space management duties using standard industry practices and government procedures.
    Strategizing, planning, and reporting on the facility space utilization.
    Liaison and coordinate space matters with other Office personnel, operational units, executive management, and outside vendors to achieve space management goals.
    Coordinate furniture installation for new construction projects, renovations, and cyclical replacements, ensure that contracted project architects complete furniture ordering packages correctly and on time, that project timetables and standards of quality, durability, and aesthetics are met, and handle warranty issues.
    Identify and resolve facility deficiencies, determine whether building systems are operating appropriately, and determine whether aesthetic appearances are acceptable and in compliance with building standards.

    Basic Skills & Qualifications:

    High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
    Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
    A minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience.
    A minimum of (5) years of SAPF/SCIF Site Security experience.
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products.

    Desired Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelors Degree.
    Five (5) or more years of federal secure facility management experience, to include all phases of the facility lifecycle process planning, programming, design, SCIF construction IAW Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, SCIF Accreditation, and implementation of SCIF SCI Management Programs.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Experience with the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and the Joint Access Decision Environment (JADE).
    Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Certifications.
    SCIF Construction and implementation / application of ICD 705, Intelligence Community Standard (ICS) 705-1, and ICS 705-2s).
