    Electronic Technician II

    Our client in the aerospace industryis seeking a professional to join their team.


    Job Title: Electronic Technician II
    Location: Southfield Michigan 48076 United States
    Pay Rate: $35-40/hr
    Contract: W2 x 12 months with the chance to extend or convert to direct hire

    Responsibilities:

    • Testing and Calibration: Conduct testing and calibration procedures on electronic equipment.
    • Lab Organization: Assist in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the laboratory space according to 5S principles.
    • Electronics Builds: Participate in the assembly of electronic components and devices.
    • Electrical Harness Assembly: Construct electrical harness assemblies for prototypes.
    • Prototype Assembly: Support the assembly process for prototype electronic devices.
    • Test Stand Monitoring: Monitor test stands to ensure proper functioning and performance.
    • General Support: Provide general support to the current lab technician as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Background in electronics.
    • Proficiency in creating electronic/electrical CAD drawings.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

    Work Schedule:
    • Full-time position with 40 hours per week expected.
    • Occasional overtime may be required.
    • All work to be conducted at our Southfield location; no remote work available.
